The ORCC dragon boat pool paddling program is aimed at helping participants develop a strong, efficient, stroke while further improving fitness and core strength. We will work on technique as we wake up those paddling muscles. There is more resistance in pool paddling than in the boat, even with the special pool paddles.
The result is fitness, strength and speed.
Our paddle is scheduled for Fridays from 7:30-8:30 pm, participants are asked to arrive by 7:15 pm to ensure you are changed and ready to start the workout right at 7:30 pm.
Therefore, a 7:15 pm arrival is required
